Its triangular head sports two menacing compound eyes and three other simple eyes, so it WILL find you. And most disturbing is the notorious mating behavior of the female mantis, which is known often to EAT her mate just after -- or even during the act of -- mating. Geez, talk about killing the mood! (Note to male mantises: Make sure to buy her dinner first. And maybe do some extra praying.)
